MC was a high schooler transported to a fantasy world and acted out every isekai cliche in the book, but he ended up losing and the dark lord turned out to be a swell guy who improved people's lives, so now the MC is just an alcoholic deadbeat dad who fathered a dozen kids with his harem and reminiscing about his glory days. The whole show is a slice of life/dark comedy about him being a loser.

>it turns out MC has a maniacal need of protecting the weaker ones, so after years of fighting the antagonist MC and his buddies finally get the upper hand and actually can defeat him, MC refuses to kill him/her and protects the antagonist from friends. He is even able to kill them in the process.
