It was "The Realist Hero’s Kingdom Restoration Chronicles", which is borderline ok for stretches, I mean the concept of a summoned "hero" who basically is just a history nerd who memorized Machiavelli's "the Prince" and Sun Tzu's "Art of War" plus "the Romance of the Three Kingdoms" who becomes king and gains a magic ability that allows him to do the paperwork of 3 people at the same time, becoming the ultimate "realist" bureaucrat king.

It has stretches where it is almost interesting, including backbiting political maneuvering, then the author sinks right back into isekai tropes, like "every woman in the world" with a name falls for him and wants his cock. Of course all the girls in the harem are cool with a harem. He (eventually) gets into the standard nip cooking bullshit that seems to take up hundreds of chapters in every single Isekai ever made.

overall I deserved the unsatisfied feeling it left me when I was done wasting my time reading it. I dropped it when he started propagandizing his reign for a few dozen chapters by making an idol group out of the pretty girls in the kingdom and broadcasting them with magic to all corners of the kingdom for no other reason then "he likes idols". That was it for me. Just couldn't be bothered to waste any more of my life with that trash.

I can't blame them. The universe is far more interesting than the main cast. I liked the space adventure aspect of GXP and TV. I also liked Seikishi far more and was hoping we would get some space adventures introduced as Kenshi tries to make his way back home. Seriously, that necklace pendant made from Ryo-Ohki and his obsession with crystals has got to play a part in a future installment.

that's arifureta in a nutshell. well, his power never was game breaking. had he never fallen into that pit, became a HAX character by eating demon flesh and drinking god tears, then powerleveled on superdemons with his demon-like body his power would have never amounted for much.

If you want an acceptable isekai try Dungeon Defense or Kamigoroshi no Eiyuu. The former quickly ditches the gamey elements and goes into fulll Karl Marx, while the latter, though it starts off weird and slow, gives decent emphasis on world-building and interesting side characters (and yes, not everyone wants the D from MC).

Truly, isekai is such a hit and miss way of writing
