Can we just skip to the part where we start bombing EU government buildings and skirmishing in the streets of Brussels?

If anime is a human right then why protest a piracy site that allows you to download free content

>human right
>Implying you have rights.
The best thing you can do in life is realize that "human rights" are a literal meme and whatever it is you feel entitled to can and will be taken away right from under your feet.
The gender violence law in Spain violates articles 6, 8 and 14 of the European convention for human rights, go over there and ask a man if he has "rights".
Anyway, stop your bellyaching, you'll still be able to get your free anime fix through other places and another site like Nyaa will pop up again, and in all likelihood Nyaa will come back again under a new domain.
This is only harmful to people that want older anime, 3DPD JAV, raws for LNs and manga and VNs and porn games
>>
what really grinds me gears is that there is still no prove piracy actually impact sales at all.
>>
>>156661287

Human rights allowed your pampered ass to even understand about the things you are talking about, pretentious idiot.

Piracy has a positive effect on sales.

If something can be revoked without reason and in the blink of an eye then it is not a right you gullible faggot.
Sure you can say that the enforcement of these memes allowed me to receive an education but beyond it affords nothing else but a subdued state of peace because you're fed with this Human Rights nonsense constantly, and so you believe you won't suddenly have your entire life flipped on its head for no reason, with no protection or aid, convicted on the spot without due process or fair trial and carted off to jail for simply existing and being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Under the Merriam-Webster dictionary for it, "Right" is: being in accordance with what is just, good, or proper.
Conforming to facts or truth.
Genuine, real.

Something as flimsy as "Human Rights" can't possibly be true as it's neither real or genuine.
I'm just telling it like it is man, best you realize there is no such thing as these intangible things that are magically bestowed upon you on birth, so if something does indeed go wrong, it won't come as such a reality breaking shock.
Human Rights are facetious at best and certainly not something you should stake your hopes on. American born Japanese Americans in WW2 learned this the hard way.
>>
>>156661891

Rights literally do not exist. It's an abstract concept, imaginary. They can be created, amended and abolished with just the expression of thought. You can fight for it and make people act as if it exists, but just as well those people can act as if it doesn't exist. In the very end, if persuasion fails, it's down to physical force. We live in a physical world, and physical reality is the only thing that actually exists.

No, they fucking didn't. Just read the court's sentence.
Recently a EU court ruled (which is not even remotely similar to a law) that selling for profit streaming services comprising material for which you don't own the copyright is illegal, even if you don't provide directly the file.
Meanwhile, UK passed a bill which prolonged jail time for sharing copyrighted material.
Then anons made a mashup of things and are memeing for hours.

The EU isn't going to last another decade on its own, anon. More extreme and anti-citizen laws like this are just a symptom of a failing economic bloc desperately trying to remain relevant to corporate interest. The problem will solve itself, the only necessary steps on our part is to enjoy a short-term alternative in the meantime.

Europe should never have been trusted to be the base of this kind of things anyways, because their laws are always volatile and guided by a top-down culture that likes to just force things on its people. Despite ostensibly being its origin, European cultures never really 'got' democracy. They're terrible at it.

The EU prevents those wealthy german companies from properly exploiting its less-wealthy european neighbours, though.
In fact, part of the reason south american in the 80s/90s, and SEA in the last two decades have seen so much economic growth is because virtually every well-off european corporation is forced to outsource overseas to keep production low instead of properly abusing former soviet satellites the sweaty mediterraneans.

If we could shift our cheap shit production back to europe, we'd save enormous amounts of money on supply logistics that would more than make up for the fact that latvia respects human rights ever-so-slightly more than china. Working with china is a pain in the ass.

Has there even been any official statement on what's going on? I get that new EU laws might scare the people involved but it's not like the laws just appeared out of thin air. There should have been plenty of time to make some sort of an announcement and let people make backups and prepare alternatives. I wouldn't be surprised if they just decided to switch domains or something and are just using the chaos to generate interest.

If the deflation is a result of more economic production, then yes, yes it does.
If the deflation is the result of a correction thanks to a previous government created inflation than it might not help living standards.

What we need is natural deflation, deflation from increases in economic production.

>If deflation is constant people adjust so things like pay raises are lower which brings you back where you started.
If the deflation is a result of economic production and not government meddling then wages will stay the same as prices fall, your living standards increase.

They don't have real deflation.
It's the same shit as what's going on in america and EU.
Government creates an artificial boom with inflation and causes malinvestment, the economy inevitably collapses and the government prints more money to try to "stimulate" the economy back to health and it causes stagnation.
The banks hold onto money because there's nothing sustainable they can invest in and this causes deflation.
The only real solution to this is to liquidate the bad debt by dramatically raising interest rates and lowering spending and taxes, but the japanese government won't do that.

>you destroy monopolies
There is a natural tendency towards monopolies in a free market, because larger companies can produce for cheaper, and the best machines cost a lot of money.
>>
>>156675959
>With free market competition you destroy monopolies and people are free to do what they want.
Did you just pick up the ancap starter pack
Complete competitiveness must eventually lead to lack of competition as people outcompete their only competitors, as the difficulty of 'catching up' to even begin competing rises, and as the wealth cap soars due to how the system works. Hell, you could even argue Marx was right about the worker's uprising - it didn't happen because almost immediately after Das Kapital, the worker's union and worker's compensation movements took off and the free market ceased to be completely free with minimum wages and such.

Oh you're talking about feudal times?
It was opening up markets and reducing government power which is what ended feudalism.

>Mercantilism was objectively better
It was garbage.

Tell that to Japan? Tell that to all the other previously third world nations that have benefitted from freer markets.

Yes and it's overvalued when speaking of what american actually produce.
If there were no reserve currency and all currencies had to compete with each other fairly, america would be a third world country right now.

>If there were a free market in currencies then the White House would nuke the fucking world
Probably true, sadly.

No there's not.
There's actually countless examples of monopolies being attempted but destroyed by market forces in the 1800s.

>because larger companies can produce for cheaper
This is a good thing.

>and the best machines cost a lot of money.
The price of those machines come down too in a free market meaning many more people can compete.

Nigger you what? Legit absolutism began with the end of the feudal era in Europe. Before it was just layers of ineffectual bickering.

>it was garbage
Ah YES because the results it produced doesn't exist.

>>
>>156675959
With free market competition you destroy monopolies and people are free to do what they want.
Where will the people get the money to be able to compete with the already established market?, how will survive when their competitors start lowering price under the cost of production?
How will they deal with the monopolization of commodities after they enter the market?.

Free market assumes too much shit doesn't exists. Sure, just like classical mechanics it might work just fine for a while, until you reach a point where friction matters way more than you expected.

Did you just pick up leftshit starter pack?

>Complete competitiveness must eventually lead to lack of competition as people outcompete their only competitors
LEL
WHAT?

>as the difficulty of 'catching up' to even begin competing rises
The price of capital goods comes down which makes it more and more easier to compete with larger firms.
Large companies get destroyed by smaller ones all the time.

>Hell, you could even argue Marx was right about the worker's uprising
No, no you can't. Marx was hilariously wrong.
He got proven wrong in the 1800s when living standards for workers rose dramatically.

>the worker's union and worker's compensation movements took off and the free market ceased to be completely free with minimum wages and such.
This is hilarious, the minimum wage is a terrible law that hurts workers.
It was economic production that raised living standards and reduced working hours, not government.

Have you ever taken history courses?
The feudal ages ended when the king centralized the power around himself, creating a new era when absolutist monarchies thrived.
This era was marqued by protectionism and very high state control of the manufacturing plants.

>Did you just pick up leftshit starter pack?
Or maybe just maybe I'm just thinking and looking at the results that forced capitalism has wrought after it passed its prime?

>The price of capital goods comes down which makes it more and more easier to compete with larger firms.
This isn't true because of efficiency in bulk and is even less true today where human capital and other non-capital factors are much more important than they once were in determining overall production.

>This is hilarious, the minimum wage is a terrible law that hurts workers.
The minimum wage isn't free market, and how does it hurt workers? You'd have a point if companies would hire more without the minimum wage - but they wouldn't because they don't need to, and it'd be below the poverty line anyway.

>It was economic production that raised living standards and reduced working hours, not government.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAA

>He got proven wrong in the 1800s when living standards for workers rose dramatically.
Because of worker lobbying and social movements.

>>156676398
Mercantilism is a system that is not capitalism because capitalism wouldn't have worked at the time under the economic realities we're talking about. Capitalism can't fucking work if the capital in question is worth far less than the land you need to use it, and you don't own the fucking land.

Savings. People that have a bunch of money will start a company that will compete with larger firms.
Savings is pretty much not allowed now because we have inflationary economy instead of deflationary one.
Also just because one firm is gigantic because it mass produces things and lowers prices for consumers isn't a bad thing.
If they were stupid and raised their prices it creates a massive opportunity to take their market share.

>Free market assumes too much shit doesn't exists.

you're just ignorant

>>156676355
>In a REAL free market, entities that use money to gain tremendous amount of power would NEVER use that power against other entities!

The only oppressive power structure Ancaps understand is the state; they don't understand that capital is a form of power in and of itself, and suitably powerful entities with capital will just make their own laws and power structures when states are out of the way.

Where has this happened and which results?

>This isn't true
It's always true.
Are the suppliers of capital goods not competing in a free market as well? Of course the price of these goods comes down, the market forces them down thanks to mass production.

>even less true today
No shit it's not true today. We have central banks which inflate these price reductions away.

>human capital and other non-capital factors are much more important
Explain.

>The minimum wage isn't free market, and how does it hurt workers?
Workers that aren't productive enough to make minimum wage lose their jobs? Look at what happened to Puerto Rico and American Samoa.

>but they wouldn't because they don't need to
If a company could hire a low wage janitor to make things cleaner to increase customers, they will.

You people are so fucking stupid. Who do you think is consuming the products the workers make?
You people are a fucking religion.

>Because of worker lobbying and social movements.
This is hilariously fucking wrong.
Unions were a very small amount of the economy and did virtually nothing.

During the gilded age wages rose every fucking year while prices fell.
This was a period of mostly free banking and free market principals.
It's common sense that economic production increases living standards for workers and not any dumb government law.

Tell that to shit like company towns, PMCs/private security forces, etc. States and corporations are just manifestations of power structures. In the best case scenarios, states can be directly influenced by citizens. That isn't the case with corporations.

Company towns were actually good though.
They provided higher wages than other companies.
People voluntarily chose to work there because it provided better living standards and a place to live than other firms.

If the population was knowledgeable about these things and not retarded then corporate/government collusion would be slim to none.
This is why Switzerland works quite well.
>>

>America during the gilded age had much much less government lobbying and bullshit like that because the government was small.

They didn't have to lobby the government because, for the most part, corporations wielded almost unlimited power. You don't need to pay an army of lawyers to help deregulate environmental protections when there are none.

As flawed as the EU is, in all honestly I just want it to be reformed.

It was the massive amount of regulations/government spending which gave corporations something to lobby for in the first place.

>>
>>156677107
And how do you stop them from introducing regulations without regulating those regulations and giving them the power to regulate? Humans act according to self interest, that's literally the tenet of free-market capitalism to begin with.
