There's so many holes in those theories that there's no solid ground for any of them to be feasible. Thing with that is he ruled the planet at the moment. So him dying would just as likely cause a massive power struggle and war due to rage at being taken over by what the world sees as an evil overlord from Britannia.

Part of the reason I didn't like that plan was because it felt way too much like a YOLO hand the problem over to Suzaku and pray losing the current head of state for the world doesn't cause an utter clusterfuck with no real safety measures. Which is pretty unsatisfying if corny enough for code geass.

So to me a 3rd season could work if they know how the hell to make this work out. Which they likely don't but I can pray.

If the code goes out of control due to being around a certain plot point they dropped in season 1 yes. Even then you don't get a full picture.

Not really proven. It's why Lelouch near the end worded his commands in such a way that without him his enslaved minions would be free and Scnieziel would be enslaved. All we have seen is if you have a code you don't have a geass. If they showed that the people Charles geassed suddenly wasn't affected any more then that would be proof. The only evidence of this is C.C being attacked after gaining code but even then we don't know how her geass worked so it might have been shorter term then Lelouch's.

Charles seemed to be just flat out erased by the power of a god and this was never conclusively proven. He could have easily just been screwing with Lelouch and C.C could have easily just been attacked and forced into taking the code instead of killed.
