Lain is a a summer anime. The contrast in the streets is what does it for me. And the heat in Lain's damn computer room must be overwhelming.

Haibane is a an autumn anime. It slowly, and gently, but inexorably, leads you to the cold.

Texhnolyze has to be a winter anime. It is cold, harsh, freezing, unforgiving, and dark.
