Why is there so little 4k anime? It's not like they shot

Because the file size would be insane, coloring and doing the digital lines would take ages as the computer suffer through it, compositing/fx would take forever and it would be a nightmare everytime you have to work on a pan or a zoom.
So not only you need much more storage space, but the load put on the machines for the last stages of work would be so crazy that it would take too long or that you'd need high nd computers for everyone.
