Sensui arc is actually better than the Dark Tournament and all the characters grow up by the end (Kuwabara studying, Yusuke marrying Keiko, Hiei and Mukuro,...)

YYH is a straightforward shonen done right, even when Togashi got tired the end was better than most Shonen, the anime is better the manga.

It's holistically better all around compared to most series out there.

Jump had lots of good series running the last 2 decades that all got canned and ended crazy badly like that; forever to be besmirched like that.

The manga is worse than the anime (the anime cuts out the boring parts) and the English dub is a lot better than the Japanese one because it adds liveliness to it

yuyu hakusho isnt about originality but about things done well.

Togashi is really good at introducing interesting adversities with even better outcomes.

it also had a fantastic anime adaptation.

The movies are pretty good.
