Comparatively, Gohan in half that time reached levels that competed with Buu, and Goku reached SS3 in 8 years.

D) Goku's just using SSB instead of his other SS forms now. He's not always operating at true SSB power, they even said that in this episode.

Goku will achieve a new form, Vegeta will instead significantly boost the power of his SSB form, while Gohan will gain a new power-up/transformation from his training/ the tournament.

Piccolo, 18, Krillin and Roshi will improve the least and be the weakest in terms of raw power but will compensate with tactics, technique and strategy.
