At this point, Shirou is such a clusterfuck of ancient magic and time travel that he basically just fucking stops obeying the rules.

He has a heroic artifact inside him. He had a paradox fight with himself, during which the longer they were in proximity the more future knowledge and skill be absorbed from said future self. His only real trick is copying weapons he sees, but he keeps getting into fights with people wielding the greatest magical weapons of history.

This is his moment. Both a week before and a week later, he is just some guy. But in this moment he is at the conflux of a whole buncha reality warping shit.
