Aikatsu has done the safest most predictable thing every season since the first. Roller's inevitable main story and subplots in S2 aren't particularly terrible (unless you're really mad about inevitably pairing her with Yume in a unit) but at the same time they would need decent execution to be enjoyable and they botch the execution at least half of the time. It's gonna be something about inheriting Spice Chord from Tsubasa, something about her being the de-facto student council president, something about Elza trying to separate her from Yume and maybe some dumb forced fight with Yume that gets resolved in a very gay manner. And perhaps they will give her a rivalry with her power-bottom nemesis Rei. I don't see much else happening with her in S2. The most interesting would be if Venus Ark really breaks down Yotsuboshi's morale and she is forced to be an oneechan to the uncertain younger idols but I'm not sure it will get that dark.

Shitposting aside, actually making Yume S4 in the first go instead of going for the obvious Lily win was a bold move to make, not saying it was good, but the butthurt it caused here is proof that no one seriously considered it.

Still, it says lots of Aikatsu when Elza is causing such a ripple just because there's finally a (so far which is not much because it's one fucking episode) actual antagonistic force. It's not Mizuki I want a raibaru autism, but an actual someone opposing the protagonists.

Rola is a mess though, and while I enjoy the funposting about her becoming Yume's bitch, I hope that her character is somehow saved in HnT despite how slim the chances may be.
