I think you guys are blowing this all out of proportion. The nico ratings aren't even for the worst series ever, its the rating for the top series and Arc-V ended up getting last place. Yup, I'm a DMfag, look, I tried to give the other summoning methods a chance but I found pendulum and synchro too complicated for no reason and Xyz to be too restrictive, Links allows me not to need a fusion card or a tuner monster or correct levels or perfect scales. I fully support the game only being Links.

To be honest, the summoning chants seemed to be a way to pad out the air time to me and I've watched since 5D's through all shows. Vrains ditching it might actually let me enjoy the duel for once, especially if they duel like Yugi and Kaiba did in the movie. That's how it should be done. Just explain or showcase the card at the end of the episode or online
