It's really an unreliable for birth control. Sperm survive for something like 5 days and ovulation rythm may be irregular; watching ovulations is a good thing to do if you want to make babies but it's hardly efficient if you don't want to.
Planned Parenthood education is really nescessary worldwide.
Using condoms is also a good idea, more for not spreading STDs than for pregnancies.
