Yes but in terms of an adaptation it is sub-par. Most studios (apart from UFOTABLE) seem to struggle when adapting a series that relies on internal monologue, however it goes a good enough job of garnering attention.

If you ask me then it depends on viewer's pov as well. Some people just have a grudge of a sort with some specific genres and thrash every series/show linked with it. Like how some people would dislike it only because its isekai and has games/dnd mechanics in it. I personally had no problem picking up Overlord's theme. From first 4 episodes, it was clear what type of story it was. I do agree that following 5 episodes made it look like Ainz was turning into an anti-hero or hero of a sort but the ending of vol2 and some stuff in last 4 episodes reaffirmed Ainz' pragmatic evil status. They did mess up a few things but I don't think it was that bad.

Whether or not the [Fallen Seed] very many levels is not explained, so we can only hope it is because Renner does not seem to have very many levels. Like, I'm pretty sure she is at under 10. Anime studios always have issues with VN's or LN's that rely heavily on internal monologues and fair enough it is not an easy thing to portray. However in the anime Ainz just seems to be built up as this really powerful guy without goals or motive. One thing I disliked about the anime is that when Ainz and co. meet PA, Albedo shows very clear disapproval when he refers to them as ladies, and she even chastises him. She never did that in the LN and I can't really see her doing it, if anything she seems to be in reverence of PA, as a creation of Ainz

It isn't so much that she "hates Ainz" but that Ainz doesn't call himself Momonga anymore, or, rather, she wants him to call himself by the name that she was commanded to love, and she holds disdain for the rest of the Guild, who abandoned her, and, more importantly, Momonga. Keep in mind that Albedo is one of the very few that can actually read Ainz's non-existent facial expressions, and she definitely notices Ainz's loneliness, spurred on by the fact that his friends abandoned him. This just augments her hatred for the other 40. The fact that Momonga took on the name of Ainz Ooal Gown in spite of all of this is what upsets her, but ultimately it something she primarily keeps within the confines of her mind, except when it slips out during her most emotional moments (see Vol 10).

It isn't so much in terms of her being a yandere and trying to keep Momonga entirely to herself, but rather that she would destroy anyone, even her own creator, if they came close to betraying Momonga.

In this, she isn't too much different from PA, who would do much of the same if it came down to it.

And the situation with the other guardians is far from black/white. Sebas is probably the one who is the most "disloyal" in that regard. Ainz is winning over almost all of his subordinate's hearts with his nat20 charisma, to the point where some of them, like Shizu, think that Ainz is the better SB because he was the only one that stayed behind, and Yuri, who thinks that Ainz is as great as her creator. Shalltear's jab at Ainz in regards to her master being better was a battle taunt, and considering what has happened since Vol. 3, I really have to wonder where her loyalties lie now. Not to mention someone like Demiurge likely has a complicated situation, as he's absolutely obsessed over Ainz, which is likely caused from some carry-over from his creator, who also liked Ainz quite a bit.

So it's a difficult situation. The longer Ainz sticks around with the self-aware NPCs, the more thoroughly loyal they become to him.

Doubtful. Ainz himself says that being level 100 in Ygg was hardly an uncommon thing, many players were maxed out. From there on what really determined your power level was equipment. The best of which was much harder to obtain in comparison to levels.

I don't know if he would make such a big deal out of the invaders level if they were hypothetically all 100s.

And the only thing that stopped them was something so game-breaking that apparently a lot of people complained to the game staff about it once they got curb-stomped on the 8th floor.
