I remember being anxious for the next chapter the day it came out last fall. I'd be poking into the multiple threads we had per chapter.

I feel like there was so much foreplay leading up to Cochlea and Rue Island. It should have been fucking amazing, but that's where shit went wrong. Ruined orgasm at its worst, and we haven't recovered since.

Go back and look at the fucking art for Haise fighting Karren and Kaneki and Etos fight, and then go look at some of the recent art. Ishida obviously burnt himself out hard, and put way too much into Cochlea / Rue, falling flat.

Well for one thing, certainly after the Auction arc, I would've introduced the ghoul pov by use of Amon, the deuteragonist who was grossly misused by Ishida to make everything with him a surprise or to keep significant plot threads for Sasaki's pov only.

He would be involved with the original ghoul cast. He would also have his own team of ghouls, Serpent included. Even Hinami early on mentioned Floppy and company.

I also felt it would be cool if in the sense of Kaneki being with Anteiku/Yoshimura, Amon would be with Orca/Shachi. Shachi, who was also grossly misused by Ishida, after already abandoning Aogiri, would help Amon deal with being a half-ghoul, teach him how to hone his abilities, introduce him to the ghoul cast, and ask for aid in getting Rize away from V. All this happening in flashbacks.

He would be investigating for leads on the mysterious organization V. Also would be in search of Kurona and planning a raid on Rue Island with Scarecrow when CCG would eventually discover it to get Seidou out of there. Fight Aogiri grunts at certain points and V agents once right before Rue/Cochlea arc.

This would've been an extra 10-15 chapters really altogether.
