Depends on a lot of things, then. If you just toss in a bunch of cards that look good into a deck you're probably gonna have a bad time. But if your waifu was, say, Daria, and you just wanted to play her and and didn't mind the rest of the deck being golems/tentacles monsters/old dudes, then you'd be killing it.

I don't still like how the game favors the fast paced aggro decks. It degenerates it mostly to "flip a coin" and hope you get good early draw. Take 2 and private matches are still great. I hope they would introduce deck matching with custom rules.

In these games "going to shit" means two different things. Either the mechanics have gotten fucked to the point where it's unfun RNG or one type of deck is leagues above everyone creating a boring meta

Or more commonly, the card type YOU like is complete shit.

Most of the time you find a card type that you like, either based on appearance or mechanics. If it's op or top tier you believe the game is great; if it isn't then you think it's shit.
