Gabriel DropOut seems so much better. In Gabriel DropOut, jokes are unique, and almost all seem to stem from the characters' personalities and the way they interact.
Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon, on the other hand, seems to be using "dragonness" as a crutch, and pretty much 70% of jokes seem to be the same recycled

Gabdrop is primarily comedy.
Maidragon is comedy + comfy SoL + Kyoani magic.
They both do their respective bits pretty well, definitely my two favorite shows of the season.

it's cool to see how these dragons interact with the human world, they all have a distinct personality that makes them special, plus is super cute and comfy.
Gabriel is a comedy more than a moe show, it's a really funny one, but i honestly prefer Maidragon.
