Barebones typesetting can be done pretty quickly, but it's still tedious and quite frankly boring work. What really takes up time is redrawing backgrounds and making the typesetting actually look good (font matching, typesetting non-dialogue, applying effects, etc). If you don't give a shit though you can pump out shitty scans quickly. Though something like Takagi, where nearly all text is in bubbles should be pretty easy to do regardless.
