Cases where the anime adaptation is better than the source material. Monster is one of those.
ITT
I dropped Monster at like episode 31 or so and I have no idea why.

you dropped it right when it was about to get better

I don't really remember much so I'd have to start from the beginning again which is not worth the 15 hours. Oh well.
Bamboo Blade pulled off a better moral lesson ending than its manga while the latter still had an acceptable ending.

How did the manga end?
Making Momoka a relentless, selfish, soulless asshole from the very start was the best change ever.
>>154333364
let's get shit started
Most comedies are better as anime. Voices are a tremendous improvement.

>cuting out major arcs
>better

Two similar events happen in both the manga and anime
1. Tamaki loses a match legitimately and learns a lesson in defeat which motivates her to try harder
2. Sensei realizes that he has nothing left to teach the kids and leaves the school to grow as a person.
The difference is that in the manga, they set up Tamaki's rival to be the one to beat her but they fuck around for 2 whole volumes with new characters where one of them happens to be the one that beats Tamaki. It came out of left field and it completely distanced the main cast for a bit. But the manga has Tamaki go farther in her realization in what she wants to do in the future and overall comes together in a meaningful and touching way.
The anime teaches Tamaki a lesson in defeat in a much quicker fashion by using an anime-only character who happens to share in Tamaki's obsession with tokusatsu so it was arguably a way more effective and quicker means to convey the same message.
Art of the manga kinda cluttered.
They did a good job with the anime.

>Monster is one of those.
No, it's not.
there's no "better one " in the case of Monster.
>>154334464
Like what? Parents arc? That shit was just a pointless loop and didn't develop any characters further.
>>154333364
It's pretty exact to the source material, one isn't better than the other
>>154334578
Death note movie because of its great twist.
>>154334567
>not wanting to see this animated

I thought most of the cuts were for the better, especially the drugs stuff
