Anyone else get motivation to do an activity by watching anime about it?
Like Free! motivated me to go swim, Yowamushi Pedal motivated me to go cycling, Kuzu No Honkai motivated me to break up with my girlfriend, etc.
Is there an anime about applying for jobs, by the way?

I'm an avid mountain biker now because of that show. I know it's about road cycling but still.
Ironically I haven't even completed the first season, I got maybe 4 or 5 episodes in then started biking.

The same thing happened to me when I watched Yowamushi Pedal. It's happening again now with Bang Dream & learning to play guitar.

Welcome to the NHK
Got really into ping pong from pic related.
I practice almost everyday and have gotten extremely good. I can take down the chinks at the rec center. Now I just have to join my local ping pong team and see if i can make it to the college table tennis championships.
Also K-on got me back into music, I was in a hole music wise but after watching K-on I got back to playing everyday.

Yowapeda made me ride a bike for the first time in five years. Free made me nostalgic for my swimming days even though I was forced to attend, and Haikyuu made my irrational dislike of volleyball disappear. I pretty much just didn't join a team because normies.
Sports anime are scary.

Golden boy.
Cycling - Nasu really did it for me. It's just a single OVA, but god damn I liked it. The hot, dry summertime atmosphere is cozy and nostalgic. You get the kinda feeling that even if he did lose the race, it wouldn't matter all that much. The guy just loves cycling, and a loss wouldn't really get through to him.

I was already cycling before Nasu, but I stopped looking at bicycles as a means of transport, and instead, started looking them as a source of fun and self-improvement.
