What about Ming China?

Here's my idea for an Isekai.

The MC is transported to an Isekai in the future where technology is literally inseperable from magic and the food is amazing and culture is just balls to the walls incredible. Like some dude from ancient rome getting transported to modern New York.

However, he has a timer attached to his wrist, which is the amount of time left before his timeline restabilizes or some shit and he gets sent back to japan.

His goal during this time is to learn as much and as many things as he can so that he can go back to our world and revolutionize it so that this future can occur someday. Only problem is he's a complete idiot and can't understand half the shit they keep telling him and also his status as a "Antediluvian Human" makes him the most valuable human to a variety of governments, organizations, and educational institutes who want his knowledge/brain/body/genes.

He gets a harem made up of a non-newtonian slime girl, a space dark elf, and two earth girls from competing global empires fighting for his affection and also wanting him to give an account of earth history that falls in line with their kingdoms' views since in their time people have lost all record of earth before the year 2100.

It's mentioned that the trees in the particular forest reservation where they live have very long lifespans, and they are only just coming towards the end of their lives when they are all weakening and dying at once. And if left to themselves the forest will renew itself in ten years anyway (but the elves will have ten years of hardship in the meantime).
