From a game design perspective, I think it's a great move, and gets yugioh closer to what it's always been trying to be, but holy shit does it wreck havoc on almost literally every deck that's been even slightly viable for the last decade or more. It's a bold move.

Also, VRAINS looks like it could be interesting. The name reminds me of someone, for some reason.

I'll miss my Karakuri decks, the Synchro era was pretty fun.
YGO is not the most balanced game and there will be an established meta soon, the past couple of years have actually been very decent for having diverse metas post Elemental Dragons.
But gimping the extra deck this hard should give Koa'ki stun decks a big boost.

So, do you think there will be any significence to the apperence of Creation and Destruction Magician? If Yuya isn't Zarc anymore that means that Rebellion and Raging Dragon should no longer exist within his deck making their effects moot unless Yuya will xyz summon something else.

However, since Arc-V has made it a point to dissappoint at every turn, I wouldn't be surprised if it means nothing, just like Yuzu and the girls and the other Yus not appearing at the end and their faiths unknown and Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon not getting it's own upgrade like it's 3 breather and just like Performapals not getting a tuner of their own.
