Do you want 1 or 2 cours for season 2? Personally I think 2 cours would be great since there would be time for lots of comfy SoL hijinks and character exploration, but still be able to give the Love Live tournament/Saint Snow plotline a chance to breathe and also get to the inevitable 3rd-years-are-graduating drama.

It's anybody's guess at this point. µ's only ever got single cours so that seems likely with Aqours, but other stuff that Sunshine's done like Aikatsu has has seasons of various lengths depending on how popular the franchise was.
