I still don't understand why some people hate on Cowboy Bebop so much.
The characters are great for the most part (never really liked Ed), there's not much in the way of a story so no butthurt possible in that regard.
The art, while very different from today's standards, still gets the job done. The music is great if you happen to like the genre.
I can understand that not everybody would like it, but worst anime ever ? That seems uncalled for.

There's a lot to pick from that I love, but I can rewatch Yuyushiki almost any day, any time more than anything else I've seen.

Kodomo no Jikan, the writing was god awful in so many ways, the girls were almost all thoroughly unlikable, mainly the main girl and the black haired bitch, everything was ridiculously melodramatic [read: written by okada], and the tonal dissonance of the serious moments and the 'comedy' clashed awfully.

It's not that you can't get shows that mix serious moments and comedy well, Scrubs did an amazing job of that. This show was just a MESS.
