If it's fun I watch with /a/, if it becomes boring shit like Little Witch Academia, I wait for it to finish airing just because I don't drop anything ever.

With shorts I have to wait until the series if over and watch it all at once. With regular series I watch them on a weekly basis.

I watch as it's airing but I usually let a couple episodes pile up at a time. If there's a shitstorm on /a/ that means it's time for me to catch up.

I pick like 10-13 shows each season that I'll watch as they come out and then once the season is over I go back and check out some of the series I missed that look interesting.

I watch current shows, but I don't care for hype. I don't partake in airing threads and choose the more relaxed threads that happen when everybody has digested the episode. Sometimes I have to leave a thread when I realize the show is currently being broadcast.

The last anime current anime I watched was School Live and it was so disappointing that I dropped new anime all together.
At least it made the manga relevant for a few months.

Off the top of my head I watched Gayass R2, Kampfer, P&S, Sora no Woto, Madoka, KLK as they aired with /a/.

Despite being streamed by some potato in Japan, Sora no Woto and Madoka, were amazing.
Every time shit got real (PTSD and Mami episodes come to mind) the hype was palpable and the massive speculah threads provided endless enjoyment.

Otherwise I don't really have time/nothing perks my interest enough to livewatch these days. LWA came close.

I almost dropped KLK but because I was invested I finished it.

Otherwise I pick something from my backlog.
