Worst of all, the magic elements are where the show sinks. Trigger did nothing to develop the canon beyond contrived insertion "magic this, magic that". One minute you can defy physics in such ways as flying, and teleportation and other manipulation of matter, while next the narrative attempts to paint magic as "archaic" and worthless - pic related, somehow "science" as a catchall buzzword and consumer technology are more relevant than literal physics-defying magic. It doesn't add up. And that is because Trigger's development of the narrative doesn't reach beyond shallow, arbitrary elements being passed of as substance. There is no substance to this show - it's shit.

What do you disagree with? I stated actual facts of the show, e.g. Akko acting out like a spoiled little brat and the teachers doing nothing when they would boot her in the butt in reality. If Akko can act out and disobey authority again and again with the only consequence being menial labor (which she also disobeys), why even pretend that there are consequences?
