And my point that I worded wrongly in my first post is that without the angels McDonalds would do absolutely nothing interesting. She'd just be a lame chuunibyou that Vigna would roll her eyes at. The interactions between characters save this show more than any one character in particular. Taken on their own none of them are worth much.
