I disagree somewhat. The anime adapts the most fun to read parts, and from LN 6 on wards it kinda dips in quality. Especially felt Holo and Lawrence's relationship development stagnates a lot.

It's in my top 3 of favorite anime. I just love the setting and the dynamic between Horo and Lawrence.

I'm currently reading the manga which is even better than the anime. It's pretty much the same story but the art is just beautiful.

It's just a shame that it'll take ages until it gets finished. guess I'll have to start reading the LNs

It's funny because I already preordered the Spice & Wolf Anniversary Edition since the 28th of August, but they still haven't sent it to me.
