Is there a more in depth story in manga then !Blame ? Seems just so good at building a apocalyptic atmosphere for the story to flourish.
It's good, but I think the narrative trick of leaving a ton of things up to interpretation and hard to follow because the lack of exposition isn't something I'd consider necessarily "in-depth". It's somewhat similar to for example Dark Souls.

It's far from a perfect manga but its something different. Don't see a lot of science fiction stuff out there.

I guess this is why people want them to do a Blame! game.
Waiting for them to reprint the series so the price drops from 30 bucks.

The story couldn't be more bare-bones.

I don't think its necessarily bare bones, they do this thing where they leave it up for interpretation and then explain it a bit later.

There is a lot of genetic differences because a lot of groups have been separated for generations.

This would actually be pretty great. For better or worse, the next Souls-game is rumored to be scifi. I hope the tone at least is similar.
What happened to the guy who was making a Blame walking sim?

This is probably the first manga that has been totally capable of transmitting the enormous scale of things and passage of time.
>Killy shoots holes kilometers long
>Elevator goes up for a month
>Casual 500 year time skips
