I read Dressrosa in one sitting and thought it was a pretty good arc. At least top 5. I was pretty surprised to see that some people say it is a bad arc. I feel the same way about most arcs but it's hard to gauge who's reacting to it after the fact. People complain about a lot of arcs when they can only read a new chapter once a week but once arcs pass by and people are re reading it from start to finish it gets the "last good X" treatment.

They could just be different people, but it's usually the same shit every arc. It feels more like people have selective memory about reading past arcs one chapter a week.

I hope he never redeems the 3 brothers, and gets away from this objectively cliche and bad writing. Here is how I would want it to go down instead:

1. Pudding is faking the whole "I'M THE OBVIOUS BAD GUY PRETENDING TO BE A GOOD GUY" schtick and reveals that it's all a lie fabricated to get Sanji away from the Vinsmokes and save him from the chains of said name.

2. Reiju is the real bad guy. She's pulling a fucking Aizen on everybody and using Pudding and Sanji to spark an entire war between the Vinsmoke family and Big Mama. That way they will both kill each other off. Her plan then is to take the cloning process that the Vinsmoke family has, the remnants of Big Mama's army and create her own kingdom so she can become the Pirate Empress Reiju Vinsmoke.

3. Reiju's motivation is that she wanted revenge against her father for what he did to her mother. Sanji was the only other person she felt like was a true family member due this his kind nature and being there for their mother. The other Vinsmoke brothers are all murdered by her (Aizen murdering the Central 46 style) to 'purify' the Vinsmoke name.

4. She gets away with everything, sales off and Luffy and the Crew will have to fight Pirate Empress Reiju Vinsmoke another day.

THAT is the only way this arc can be saved because it's been legit boring, cliche and all around bad.
