I don't care about Mikasa and Levi (bland stoic edgelords who are strong because they're asian and whose backstories are they lost someone they loved). Sasha and Connie were potentially great but they never really did anything entertaining or interesting. If Ymir wasn't a lesbian literally no one would give a fuck. Bert should have been more fleshed out. Hanji, and the rest suffer from the same problem I have with SnK characters in general. They can potentially be great but nothing so far is compelling about them.

Eren despite being a shifter feels more human than most of the cast. He genuinely struggles both physically and mentallly. His anger is completely justified even if you don't like it. Humans and titans are constantly all against him even if he's saving their asses. Yet he's a good guy, just misunderstood. And people keep forgetting he was just a teenager. Of course Levi is going to be more mature than him. With all the shit Eren has been through he SHOULD be getting pissed off, if he didn't he wouldn't be human.

Everyone here seems to just hate him for being angry but I don't blame him for that at all. The one thing I don't like about Eren is how he depends too much on other people to get things done. Knowing how Isayama fucked some of the characters, I don't even know if I should expect great things in the future though.

A lot of people seem to agree that the manga overall just has poor characters and I don't disagree. At least with Eren I got some great titan scenes and some heartwarming/fucked up delicious drama. Everyone else aside from Historia and Reiner failed to leave an imression on me but whatever

They did the action well, but that doesn't mean they made the idea of being strapped to gas canisters, that you manipulate by handles, that shoot cables which hook into surfaces, which pull you through the air, look as though it stresses the user. They just zip around the place and talk to each other.

Animation style doesn't necessarily equate to something being cartoony. Is the style of Gantz cartoony? What about Ajin? I said animation style, not style. And that point aside, style doesn't equate to aesthetic.

Fast and exaggerated also doesn't mean cartoony. Cowboy Beboop is fast, but not cartoony. Youji Senki is fast, when the action kicks in, but it isn't cartoony.

So, no you don't know what I mean better than I do. In fact, you don't seem to understand what I said at all, unlike the other anons who did what I asked which was to suggest how they would change the visual design.

Neither does the manga. It's exaggerated for coolness and it's better off that way than trying to be realistic (if it was, no real action would be able to exist with something as clunky as the 3dmg).
