So, I literally just finished reading Part 6 and my mind is all over the place trying to understand what the fuck I just read.

Stairway to Heaven sped shit up until new universe started, and fate is bound to repeat itself. For everyone but him and those that he chooses to interact with. He "accidentally" pushes Weather Report into Emporio and causes it to change fate itself, resulting in him dying, and as such, the Universe being reset again (because it didn't arrive at the point where it was reseted in the first place).

The characters themselves are "changed" because they were killed by Pucci in the OG timeline?

The names being different is the only part I don't quite get, but I assume its just to show that they are actually different people. Yeah it's the only arc in Part 6 I'd say isn't at least decent. I feel like it was a bit too long for it's own good, and although Annasui's solution to the problem was pretty funny it fell a bit flat with how long it took to get there. If it had been 3 chapters instead of 5 then the payoff would have been far more satisfying. At least it should only be one episode in the anime.

Universe 1 (the original one) is where they died and where their souls were left behind.
Universe 2 is the one which Pucci created where people knew their fates in advance, with the shitty bizarro Jotaro and Jolyne in it. These copies did NOT have the souls of the originals, as shown by their personalities. 'Jotaro' was actively sweating and had a tear in his eye, and 'Jolyne' was screaming and raging at him like a toddler.
And Universe 3 is what resulted with Pucci's death, which caused a paradox. For all intents and purposes, Universe 3 is basically Universe 1, but with different names and memories (but the same souls) as the heroes who died there.

It's cool, it took me a couple of rereads to get it.

Basically, think of Universe 3 as being the universe trying to make itself as similar to 1 as possible other than having no Pucci in it. Without Pucci all of his shit was retconned, including the deaths of the people he killed, so they came back as themselves but with different backstories. Hence them looking identical to their previous selves other than minor cosmetic things like hair and clothing, whereas Universe 2's versions were completely fucked because they weren't the same at all.

I think it means that he can only apply heat to something when it's withing 10cm of him but then the heat remains after it leaves that range. So effectively he has to touch something to put heat on it but after that the heat can go as far away as he wants it to until he deactivates the ability.

That page was only added in the volume release itself. It wouldn't be there if it was retconned in a chapter from the same volume. More likely what it means is that the ability can only be used withing 10cm of the Stand but like a lot of other Stands the ability continues after it leaves that range. Basically it needs to be within 10cm to initiate but it can continue after leaving that range until Jobin deactivates it as happened with Josuke. The Stand itself probably has a similar range to Soft & Wet.

It switched to monthly in chapter 24, so the chapters got longer. Despite that the 23 weekly chapters were all 32+ pages long instead of the usual 19 (GW and SO did 21 instead of 19) and the early monthly chapters were long as fuck, one being 74 pages long. They get shorter towards the end where Araki finds a nice balance between the amount of content and the quality of the art so they end up ranging from 40 pages to 50 pages. Same with JoJolion.

The fact that both Yasuho and Damo have said that the Wall Eyes seem to be protecting Morioh from something that's going to come from the sea makes me think that JoJolion's climax will be pretty cataclysmic. I could see Araki pulling another Chariot Requiem and having third Stand complicate the final battle between Josuke and Jobin, if those theories about Jesus still being in Morioh are true (and they seem likely, Araki keeps going on about the meditation pine near the coast and we know Johnny stashed the corpse there and that it's where the Higashikatas exchange the curse, but Johnny's flashback cut out right as he died and we don't see the US agents actually go to the corpse and people who die from the rock disease look similar to the corpse) then the corpse might start doing some wack shit to protect Morioh from some other wack shit coming from the ocean, and it'll be Jesus vs. Ancient Rock Cthulu while Josuke vs. Jobin happens concurrently and they have to try and not get killed by Big J and Rocky while trying to kill each other.

So I've been taking my time rereading vento aureo with the new scans and it's more intense than I remember it being. The part really kicks up during the first Sticky fingers VS King crimson fight.

My only real big complaint is that Fugo feels kind of wasted as a character and we barely get to know much about him before he leaves. Everybody else we got something but with Fugo just having him leave and keeping him gone makes him feel kind of a weak character compared to everybody else.

The atmosphere I can't really describe, it's oppressive but subtly oppressive, not like GW where it's more prevalent but like in SO there's SOMETHING terrible going on for sure but you can't quite put your finger on it until the very end. I really can't explain it much better, it has less to do with the actual content and more of the feeling I get from reading it, and it gives me the same feeling SO did.

>The following night, the earthquake that hit Morioh after caused the Wall Eyes to form.
>It was the corpse's move to stop any further attacks from Valentine.
>Fastforward to Jojojlion, after the events of Joubin and Dolomite fusing and learning about the corpse and after Jousuke and Joushuu team up to stop their brother from using it

He was gonna be a traitor but Araki dropped the plotline because he was depressed at the time and thought it was a bit too dark for a WSJ series and would disappoint younger readers, but because he'd written Fugo's ability with being an enemy in mind he found himself with a problem with Fugo either being the solution to every problem or complete dead weight, so he had to find a way for him to leave and have it feel natural. I don't think he managed it quite as well as he would have liked though, as Fugo does feel pretty wasted and even with his best attempt his departure still just feels off.

The earthquake parts of morioh looked great, the harbour bomb looked great and the Vitamin C fight showed Araki hasn't lost his taste or talent for a bit of body horror.
Also the train ride of theories what's going to happen will be great as fuck

Although I liked the one where he kept using btd on Holly's death and had to keep reliving the hour to find the cure.
