And it might as well be dead again. They made good restart with Sore ga Seiyuu, but Akiba Strip will inevitably bomb and sadly it seems they invested quite some resources in it seeing its animation is quite rich.

Aside the whole retaded idea of adapting shit game, shit ln, shit manga (how does that franchize survives still?) into shit anime they did istake of casting Sore Ga Seiyuu VAs to it too - mistake since their work on SgS was great, but they COMPLETELY dont fit the characters they voice in Akiba Strip.

So if anything it can be compared to Gainax`s last breath attemp which was Medaka Box anime, but without Nishio writing behind it.

No, I meant I watch shows that grab my attention with an adequate combination of factors. If a show is too ugly, my tolerance to a boring plot is lower. Now, if the show has enough semen demons of a high enough level, I might even tolerate some kyoani-level plot.
IBO happens to be on a delicate equilibrium between cool robots (which I enjoy), lame politics, fun "moments" (like the spaceship fight when they were nearing earth), bland MC, and a big-titted voluptuous blonde girl.
I also am the kind of guy who watches anime adaptations without giving a fuck about the source material on a first moment. Actually, I would be very fond of watching a sort of an UC apocalypse series. Let's name it Gotterdamerung Gundam. It should show the complete decay of Earth Federation and the coming of the Dark Era (in-between of Victory and Turn A). Such story may sell well, if Bandai can arrange proper advertising, creators would be really creative on mech design and the storywriters would use some sort of history fuel to improve the story.
