You also forgot to mention that character names are puns relating to their quirks and/or personalities. Still, I realize he takes those simple characterization tropes to the extreme, but since his characters have actual substance to back that up I don't really see the problem. On the contrary, I find the tong-in-cheek'ness of it charming even. I mean, who doesn't like Stan Lee's penchant for alliteration in character names? It's the same thing. The exact same thing sometimes, like Zashikiwarashi Zakuro, Sasorida Sachiko, Yuragi Yura, Irohani Irori. I love this shit in my stories.
