Yeah, just read it in a day. Not a bad translation. A couple of extra details that aren't there in the manga and of course it goes a good deal further than what's been released for the manga so far. It's not bad, though I think i prefer the manga overall. If current/up-to-date, he'd regrettably probably have to put him down, since gobs are demihumans and Ainz is going for the whole Egalitarian thing with Project Utopia

Earlier on he might have used him as sort of like Momon, in order to build confidence in the village folk before claiming he was working for Naz/The Sorcerer Kingdom the whole time, but eh. Barring a special or contrived circumstance like his situation with Enri or Gazef he probably wouldn't give too much of a shit at best and would get rid of him for messing things up at worst.

There's a really weird intermission chapter in the first volume (all of them are structured like interviews, one is with the Guild Girl) that randomly is interviewing this 15 year old girl who's brand new to adventuring that randomly finds a holy sword while on her first quest. It's really out of place and seems totally unrelated to anything else going on, and then later on when GS gets downtime for a month because Guild Girl won't give him quests until he recovers, it mentions how the war with the demon lord suddenly stopped when a young girl wielding a magic sword defeated him with like one hit or something. At first I thought that was just a really awkward set up and pay off for a contrived joke but maybe she'll be coming back in later volumes.

Here's the last page of the first volume, the weird epilogue that sort of fiats it as one big cosmic D&D game. It might just be some cutesy fluff, but very relevant, the last thing that GS thinks before the epilogue starts is that 'luck has nothing to do with it' (in regards to people being willing to help him if he really needs it). Right after a thought like that, they start talking about this stuff, so I think its more than just fluff. Here:
