I dunno man. Modern Enokido to me is the nonsense he pushed out with Igarashi. Keep in mind that Igarashi is a "director with a strong vision" so I'm not convinced of what you're saying there. Modern Tsurumaki is Rebuilds. I don't think either of them are "bad" per se but not something to get excited about.

As for a strong vision, would you argue that Igarashi has a style, or a set of themes, topoi and narrative solutions constant through his entire career as distinct as the other two?
