I think the issue with white glue and glue sticks is that they're water based to be kid-safe (somewhat edible, non-flammable). The water is what is causing the wrinkles.

My brother found some thing where you leave a 3d printed thing in a box along with a paper towel soaked in acetone, and it makes whatever you printed come out all smooth and shiny.

Not sure if it's worth it at this point, but in the future if you're 3d printing anything and want it to look extra glossy, that's an option

I've actually seen this on youtube; it don't really aid me in my project because i had to spray paint it anyway and I'm using a different kind of filament, but yeah it's useful if you just want to print something and instead of sanding it to death it does all the work for you. Good tip though.

Quite a lot of people tend to not fulfill all their cards every year unfortunately. Participated 3 times, got 2/3 first year, 2/3 second year and 1/3 last year.

But to be fair, there's only one bar of chocolate there that could cause an disaster. It's more or less wrapped in tinfoil that is then wrapped in paper. Everything else was mostly solid candy, in sealed bags.
