It was a really good scene. I feel like it confirmed the idea that Victor and Fairy really wouldn't have worked as coach and student because Victor is used to people praising him and is already insecure about being old and busted. Fairy calling him out on his bullshit and reminding him of this reality every chance he can get because he wants to surpass him and sees him mainly as an obstacle just wouldn't be a good mix and as we can see Victor gets a bit irrationally angry over it.

I think Victor is aware of this and acknowledges that it's better for him and Fairy that he left Russia because the whole ordeal with Yuuri caused them to both get their shit together by chance anyway.

The situation being diffused and Fairy mentioning Hasetsu Ocean tied the scene together really well, showing that even if they have these hostile moments, he acknowledges that he and Victor experienced something important during that time and Victor confirming this by saying it wasn't just him that Yuuri gave life and love too or whatever.

I feel like BikeFairy is kind of the only logical way for Fairy to make sense of Victor's love for Yuuri, though. Yuuri and Victor are just in a completely different stage of life from Fairy and it shows in the ways that they don't really see eye to eye. I just don't know how Fairy would relate his and Victor's experiences? Victor was lonely and at a crossroads in his career, Fairy is at the beginning of his career and yes he's never had someone ask him to be friends before, but he didn't seem particularly lonely before that. He wanted attention from Victor sure, but the scenarios are only loosely similar.

I feel like it's more likely to get some dramatic Victor/Yuuri scene that Fairy witnesses that shows Victor's struggles and how Yuuri helped him with that and he understands and just lets it go.
