Its my least favorite from Miyazaki, but it has some gorgeous set pieces. Even the worst of Ghibli is miles better then most other shows/films. Give it a shot.

The narrative just kind of loses itself 2/3rds of the way through the movie but it's still good.

Its good, albeit really panders to a female audience with the FeMC.

Every Miyazaki is worth watching. His worst works are miles above what we're used to in anime.

It's cluttered and messy plot-wise, but it's still miles beyond most other anime movies.

Watch it, and read the book as well please if you want the narrative.
