Although, I've personally speculated a possible direction the series could go is that Ainz, on the brink of losing the last of his humanity to the ebbing of his psyche to undeadness, experiences some sort of existential panic that if he completely gives into the Overlord persona and utterly abandons Suzuki, he'll be unable to recognize or care if he actually does somehow meet his friends
Therefore he would instead switch his race up to something less undead so he could guarantee he'd be able to recognize and accept his friends. If it were in fact a human, potential interesting developments and hijinks would ensure, as most everyone in Naz despises humans, and therefore entirely new dynamics would need to be played out, including the romance scenarios

That's probably a lot of autistic projecting, but I hold firm that at some point there will be a more pointed personal conflict between the Undead and the remaining Humanitt in Ainz's psyche. Personally I would hope that he chooses to retain some humanity, but it could go in a lot of different directions. The author meticulously left himself a lot of room to work with in all these regards, but at some point he'll have to commit unless he wants to keep writing Overlord for 20 years

There are moments where even when you're with the one you truly love, they can piss you off or you can have a falling out, or much more mundane, there can be passing moments where you know you're in love but it's just kinda a boring, laid back day so there are other things in your mind. So yeah, overall you're in love, but it's a sort of light, variable thing
Now compare that to Albedo's situation: her personality almost entirely comes out of her programmed backstory, and in that flavor text it outright states "she loves Momonga"
Imagine if your entire identity, every single time you had a thought or a string of consciousness, every time you refresh your perception of the world, the unwavering absolute truth hard wired into your whole being demanded 'you love this person'. It's literally part of her identity. As demonstrated in the first side story, we see outright that she would be completely and totally fine with killing other supreme beings if it meant she could be with Momonga, and even states that it's Momonga she loves, not 'Ainz' . That perfectly illustrates just how far she'd be willing to go just to even symbolically demonstrate that she loves him.
In short, if she's willing to bone him when she doesn't have a Bone, I'm pretty sure she'd be begging for it happily even if he was a lesser creature.

Remember, the Elf King is absolutely obsessed with having strong offspring to conquer the world with, and one of the key signs of power in Elven society is heterochromia. From the little bit of him we got to see, he talks about how none of his offspring managed to be anywhere near as powerful as him (except for the child in the Theocracy), and the intermission makes no mention of the fact that the daughter he was talking to had heterochromatic eyes while the intermission also makes a special note of mentioning his eyes in a very dramatic way with the last line. I think that it is pretty safe to assume that Elf King's weak children are not manifesting these kinds of eyes and that he would know for sure if one of his kids did have them

The 8GK conquered most of the continent and killed almost all the Dragon Lords before they fell into infighting, and kept killing/resurrecting one another. This lowered their levels enough for the Dragon Lords to kill them permanently. PDL volunteered to look after their gear to prevent it being abused in the future.

There were two players on the 13 heroes, one a veteran and one a rookie (the rookie was the leader). Neither were close to the level cap. With the end of the epilogue its winter, the dwarfs came in the summer so thats when he was at the dwarfs, considering the short span between the dwarfs and vassalge of the empire, the occupation of e-rantel already run for around 3 months i think. The fight at katze plains was in the middle of winter.

To be short, in less then a year he established a country, in less then a month he forces the empire into vasal, the dwarfs becoming allies and the casus bellus is underway in the kingdom. While between summer and winter from the epilogue vol 12 something big seems to happening in the holy kingdom.

The more I think about it the more I realize they can't continue the anime. Ainz is a much darker person (or at least does much darker things) than what they've set him up as in the manga and anime. People would be turned off if suddenly they had to address why Ainz was going full hitler when in the anime it was more implied that he was a decent guy that cares about lesser folk.
