Even I don't know how it happened. I'm self-aware that he doesn't have all that much content where he's living normally and at the time I met him it's not as if I wasn't entirely open-minded about playing the field and dating other guys. There was also a short span of time in the beginning where I denied my feelings for him, because I was in such a bad place in life that I couldn't even imagine a guy tolerating me. I made it official because certain events in my life happened from then on that made it clear that he was always in my heart and that I always put him first, even if I was in danger.

At the same time, I don't think that it was completely out of nowhere. I love fighting sports and watching stuff like battle shonens. Even if I'm not the best, just the atmosphere of the hobby is enough to make me really happy. When I initially thought of Wamuu, I had a lot of fantasies of the two of us as fighting rivals for obvious reasons. Rivals who are also friends are always thinking of each other. They have a great respect for their rival's strength and how they utilize it, they get really excited when they can see each other even if it's only for a moment, they're always training hard so that they don't fail to impress their rival or help them improve, and the crowds don't matter as long as they have each other. A lot of those things apply to people who have a crush on each other, so it shouldn't be so strange that it turned into this, right? That's how I see our relationship. We're star-crossed, but that's okay because we have a secret weapon! No one would find anything suspicious about us meeting to fight, and as long as we're able to do that, we can communicate our love to each other through combat.
