At first I thought it will be just another bland show like tekkyuu with no plot whatsover so I didnt care. But then I got

I'm guessing the art style turns a lot of people off. Which is a real shame, because it fits the tone of the show perfectly and the ping pong is reasonably well animated.

Should've changed the story so that instead of having the Whirlwind girl team as a training match have them as a tournament opponent. Ending the show with a training match is sort of meh.
