The novel at least fix that partially I think for Rim's case. The other girls at least don't actually need any armor so you could suspend some disbelief on this.

It's kinda the logical route. The king of Brune via the lumirie title essentially engaged him to Princess/Queen Regin way back in volume 5. The story of the first Emperor of Zchted is a story of Emperor with a harem of warrior girls (the original vanadis). The maid has already been talked about as a mistress, since she's a commoner and can't marry Tigre. I really doubt it can go many other ways. The Scythe vanadis has royal blood, and is plotting to become empress of Zchted. That's pretty much the short form. My spelling is probably off I haven't read it in a long time.
