Alright, reposting this from previous thread. A simple explanation on how timelines and the multiverse works in DB for the people who are still confused.

Alright, first of all while in normal fiction there are parallel universes, in DB instead there are parallel multiverses.
In DB, to refer to a multiverse/timeline they say ''world''.
A world is composed by the 12 universes we know about, a new world is created whenever someone travels back in time. With the manga stating that the very first alternate world was created when a ningen in Universe 12 invented time-travelling (so Bulma wasn't the first) and went back in time.
Now, how many worlds (aka multiverserses) are there?
You can see it in pic related, for everytime a new world is created a time-ring appears.
I can assume that the silver time-ring is the main one that can take you to any world (or the actual future of the world you're in) while the green time-rings take you only to their assigned world.
Now, Beerus accidentally created a new world due to the entire time paradox that was Black's existance, the world where Zamasu managed to steal Goku's body still exists and it can be accessed with one of those green rings.
So yeah, there are six worlds/timelines/multiverses. Meaning there are six Zenos, six Beeruses, six Champas etc...

How come Goku and Vegeta are still the strongest when each generation of Saiyans has shown to be stronger than the previous one?

And future Trunks turned Super Saiyan when he was 14, plus achieved all of this shit in Super, becoming almost as strong as an SSB when he's in his early 30s, whilst Vegeta and Goku are in their mid-40s.

Goten is the youngest Super Saiyan so far and Trunks isn't far behind him. The two as Gotenks were the strongest beings for a while. They should have insane potential just waiting to be tapped into.

So now the threats either have to be Universal in nature, or their goal and/or power has to be low enough on the scale that it doesn't get into the Gods' radar, which is a thin line considering for anything to really be a threat to Goku and/or Vegeta, it would have to be powerful enough to challenge the Gods or be a god anyway. I don't think Radditz ever offered to spar the earth but I could be wrong ether way Goku didn't want to butcher innocent planets or have his son be forced into that line of work. So yeah they needed to stop him.

He started off nowhere near Goku's overall level, and simply improved his trademark technique more than tenfold over until he was better in the span of one fight.
It was lazy, predictable, and made Goku look bad – I'm all for characters stronger than him, to engender some development. But that was just poorly written.
Then, at the end of it all, despite the fact that Hit was improving beyond all of Goku's techniques with no sign of stoppage, all indicators pointing to that he would simply KEEP doing so. And Goku being fucked beyond belief due to the usual stresses of battle, coupled with a potentially lethal new technique, THEN it's revealed "Lol Hit wasn't even trying to win".
In the manga Goku looks good, and the more powerful fighter is left obfuscated.
In the anime, it's a cluster-fuck of Hit looking like a generic LN protagonist, Goku looks like a goof, and the entire thing feels pointless because it's a damn-near certainty Hit could have killed him already.
Boiling it down to "y-you just don't like that Goku's a stu" is retarded, considering he's a fucking jobber in Super.

Looking back, I actually like this arc and it's the best DBS arc to date. It had a great villain, actually did something cool with the "evil Goku" plotpoint, had a return of fan favorite Future Trunks and while the ending was goofy it also had a small tease of Gohan actually becoming relevant again. Future Mai is also the only female character in Super that isn't totally insufferable.

Overall I'd give this arc a solid 7/10. I can't wait to see how Toei fucks everything up in the next episodes.

It says nothing about GT being good. Just about Super being bad and getting worse by the episode to the point that it makes GT look less bad compared to it.
