Trunks: “I did. And thanks to my mother over there, I was able to come back.”

However, I think that angels might be a special case. Remember that Beerus was also introduced as the strongest character in the universe and then it turned out that Whis has the power to stop him. We also know that angels "deactivate" once their master is dead. So their existence is tied to the existence of their master. They are, in a way, part of them. So even if Zeno is literally omnipotent, the grand priest might nevertheless be stronger than him in the sense that he is an aspect of Zeno that has the power to stop himself. In other words, he is a greater infinity within the greatest infinity.
