BHNA is just a better series. OPM is just mindless fun.

They do their own separate things, one is a straight faced attempt at a superhero show that has an interesting idea in exploring the logistics of capeshit, while the other is a light hearted caoeshit with parody elements of shounen.

I enhoyed OPM more though, because dekus crying at everything was annoying, and nothing much happened for most of BNHA

I think that's the danger of having adapted drawn pages into animation to directly, without taking into account the differences between the mediums, something I hope they correct in the next season.

BNHA uses flashback extensively but these usually one or two panel 'reminders' fitted in without disrupting the flow or wasting much of your time, such as top left in pic related.

Whereas in an animation (or live action), to have a flashback you have to completely stop the story in its tracks and cut the 'camera' to a different scene, and then cut back. its a lot of time to be seeing things you've already seen, so they should be used sparingly and only for a good reason.
