Anyone else think they ought to just drop making Opening songs

I'm pretty sure 3 minutes of decent animation for one entire cour isn't breaking the bank

It won't help much. OPs and EDs exist as a platform to promote new music anyway, which is what a show's sponsor would want since there's normally a music label attached to the production committee. Anyway, it's also a good chance for directors and animators to do something cool and it's not too hard due to the short length.

It's a massive source of funding for anime.
