So I'm a complete newbie to this series. Does the second arc and on have better character development or more time to develop the plot in general? The anime is fun to watch but feels a bit lacking at times because a lot of the girls get very little development time. Some of the events/deaths don't feel very impactful. I'm still enjoying myself though.
