I'm not a huge fan of eva but atleast it killed mecha and turned anime into what it is today.

Also Higurashi wasn't much of a deconstruction, it did a bit to deconstruct horror but I doubt it was the first to do that.

I need to learn how to filter threads. Higurashi and Umineko are the words I want to add but I don't get what the hell I'm supposed to do even reading the guide. From now on, for every thread on /a/ and /v/, please use these words on the OP to make my stay here more comfy. Thanks.

There's an Umi thread on /v/ right now. Nothing really interesting, mostly the same people from /jp/. Boring stuff. I have seen some from to to time, when I go to /v/ to lurk. I normally report it for shits and giggles and go to other threads.
