So from what I understand:
-Hiroyuki Terao, you can go check ANN faggots, has worked on SW ever since the first season.
-He did a particular animation cut in the first OVA, which at this point SW got passed down to SL, but as he stated in his twitter still hasn't gotten paid for it.
-Based on the new twitter posts in his account there weren't any specifics regarding the actual contract and interaction with the studio aside from the fact that he hasn't gotten paid for his work on the OVA which was basically two years ago.
-There's no concrete evidence supporting his statement and any official word from SL yet but considering the guy isn't credited in Brave Witches then it might very well be the case.
-As a side note, there's some speculation in the nip side regarding this story. Are the executive producers in SL rotten? How is Kadokawa involved? Why didn't this motherfucker just get a lawyer instead of starting drama on twitter?

So yeah. It's certainly barebones currently. I'd wait a few more hours to see how much this drama can blow up but until then just let it fester a bit. The PA Works story a few days back was far better because we actually had the inbetweener post a picture of her slip.

I have none, other than that it's reasonable for software to start getting used in the part that is the least creative and the most predictable.
Some morons are already using free software to create artificial frames to raise anime frame rate to 60. Naturally the end result is full of noise as the programs they are using is too inept to recognize what to do.
But when you have black-on-white frames, and state of the art tech, the product is going to look much better.

Anime is made on shoestring budgets, and if there is a way to save costs without too significant a drop in quality, then studios will go for it.
