She is actually a spy send by the anglican church in order to keep Kamisato kakeru under control. She is not a Gem Stone and embedded herself with a chip in order to increase her ability as a mage to deceive everyone in the harem. In this page, she narrated that the path that kakeru and touma take is different but what about her who doesn't follow in any of their path. She used everthing that she have in order to save kakeru but the price is she will never be able to walk alongside kakeru ever again. This is the path that she took by her own choice.
After this she meet tsuchimikado and both of them talked about aleister? Looks like tsuchimikado is pissed by aleister because he didn't keep his promise to protect his sister. Looks like both of them teamed up now.

If they're to be believed Mikoto and Touma found a AAA but this one was particularly weird, Mikoto without giving second thoughts went for it while Touma got chills and told her not to. All while she was thinking how that (me: totally not suspicious) thing somehow was fated to be hers and take her to the next level blah blah blah but it didn't respond to her so she tried to force her way to activate it only to make it go more ominous, then that thelemic shit appeared and Mikoto looked at it, it wasn't even 1 second but that was enough to burn her mind while her body convulsed and her blood vessels burst.
Note again this might be true or just them speculating.
